How can I Recommend a Friend?

Recommend a Friend is easy at our retirement deve;lopement. When you move into your new bungalow at Burnham Waters, you will receive a welcome pack, with lots of useful information about your new home. Within this pack, you will find a ‘Recommend a Friend’ voucher. All you have to do is hand the voucher over to a friend or family member who may be interested in joining our new retirement community at Burnham Waters and they can take it with them when they first visit the development.

How can my friend/family member take advantage of Recommend a Friend?

If you have opted to refer a friend, your friend or family member just needs to bring the Recommend a Friend voucher, which you provide them with, along to their first appointment when they come to view our new vibrant retirement community. They simply need to present the voucher to the sales advisor who they meet on site and provide them with your full name (as the recommender!). If they go on to purchase, both you and your friend will then be rewarded with a £250 voucher of your choice each, as our way of saying thank you!

What if I want to recommend multiple friends or family members?

If you have lots of friends or family who you’d like to recommend, that’s no problem – the more the merrier! Just ask your sales advisor for some more Recommend a Friend vouchers, or if you’d prefer, you can just ask for a Recommend a Friend code. This code can then be shared with your friends and family and they can pass this code onto the sales advisor when they visit the development. Should they go on to purchase a new retirement bungalow at our retirement development, you will both receive a £250 voucher.  

Can I Recommend a Friend, even if I haven’t completed on my own purchase at Burnham Waters yet?

Yes, absolutely! If you have reserved a new bungalow at Burnham Waters and you are progressing with your purchase here, then you can request a Recommend a Friend voucher (or a code) from the sales team. If you and your friend/family member both go on to buy at Burham Waters, then you will both receive a £250 voucher each, when you have both legally completed.  

What are the terms and conditions?

Recommend a Friend is available on selected homes only and for new reservations only. The bearer and the referrer will each be gifted a £250 voucher for a choice of local and national retailers, which will be paid once the nominee and the nominated friend or family member have both legally completed on their property purchases.  

Recommendations must be identified on the buyer’s first registration with us. Only one Recommend a Friend/Family incentive may be used per purchase. Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other incentive, home buying scheme or discount. Please speak to your sales advisor for full details.

The new retirement bungalows at Burnham Waters incorporate high-quality fixtures, fittings, and appliances throughout. All homes have bi-fold doors opening onto a private patio area and the halls, utility rooms, lounges, and kitchens are fitted with beautiful, hardwearing oak or chestnut effect vinyl plank flooring. Luxury carpets are fitted to all bedrooms, and all bathrooms and en-suites feature tiled floors. There is underfloor heating throughout.  

Smoke detectors are fitted throughout and an emergency  alarm system is in place for 24/7 peace of mind.

Each property has a driveway for two cars with an electric  vehicle charging point and bicycle and bin storage.
