Fast fibre internet connectivity: This enables remote working, video streaming and video chat with friends and family, who may be living far away. It also supports our health monitoring and fall detection systems, helping our residents and their families feel connected at all times.
Security alarms: Our alarm system can be monitored from our on-site security office for added peace of mind and is ideal for those that wish to lock up and leave their home for extended trips away.
Smart lock and video intercom: These systems work seamlessly to allow you to see who's at your front door, before you answer it. It also makes it easier for residents to communicate with those outside, without having to get up and go to the door. For people with limited mobility, the unlock feature enables you to allow visitors into your bungalow, without the need for you to physically get up and open the door yourself.
CCTV cameras: CCTV cameras located on the driveway and patio area of each property at Burnham Waters provide additional peace of mind. Safety is a top priority within our new retirement village and we are incorporating additional CCTV on the perimeter walking paths and communal spaces, further enhancing our onsite security. Our cameras include AI that detect if a person has fallen over on a measured walking trail and ensures assistance is provided.
Fall detection: Nobi Smart Lamps
Residents at Burnham Waters can also choose to add the Nobi smart lamp to their properties. At our new retirement village, we have partnered with Nobi to deliver the Nobi & Nabita smart lamps within our new bungalows. With our advanced connectivity, we can install the latest heath care and fall detection technology in a seamless non-intrusive way. This is an excellent way for vulnerable residents to feel safe in their homes. Nobi can monitor movement and let care providers know if a resident has fallen, alerting a nominated care giver to provide immediate assistance.
Nobi helps older adults to continue enjoying their lives, in the comfort of a familiar environment, according to their own rules. Our portal offers a wealth of convenient, easy to use features. So, if you are about to become a resident with us, you can keep up to date with all information and start your luxury senior living journey in the most efficient way.
Long-term, residents can enjoy using the app to keep up to date with the local community, book appointments and even track the bus into Burnham-on-Crouch.
