Burnham Waters construction update - Q3 2022

Construction at Burnham Waters continues to progress well as we enjoy the summer weather. We are pleased to say the construction site has been set up and works are progressing on time.

Construction updates

As of present:

- The site has been stripped of all topsoil to the south side of the ditch. This is the first phased area of development.

- Installation of the foul and surface water drainage are the first elements of works and is currently under construction.

- Following this, will be the forming of the roads.

- The foul water drainage in roads 1, 2 and 8 is now complete from the site entrance off Maldon Road up to plot 25; this has allowed us to cut and form the same roads and tarmac is due to be laid at the end of August. The culvert beneath road 11 where it crosses the ditch is also complete!

- Foundation works to the bungalows are due to commence on 22nd August 2022.

We are extremely excited to see the construction steps move along at pace. It's another step closer to welcoming our new residents to Burnham Waters.

Our new home has enhanced our lifestyle enormously. When we first walked into our new home...we felt a great sense of relief - we felt that were embarking on a new life together. We are looking forward to a community atmosphere building here and to be able to head out to the onsite shops, as well as the gym and other facilities. I don’t believe that there is another development anywhere that is capable of meeting the same standards as Burnham Waters.
